End of Life Care at St. Monica Manor

Catholic Health Care Services respects life at every stage. End-of-life hospice services are available to provide support to resident and family members during this most sensitive time. One of the primary goals of hospice is to assist the individual to remain as pain-free as possible while maintaining personal dignity. Pastoral care support is also an integral part of this program to address spiritual needs.

The Angel’s Touch Program at St. Monica Manor is offered to residents who are in failing health and for family, friends and staff involved with their care during the end of their life journey. Components of the program include pain management, spiritual and psychosocial interventions and support from all departments. Special comfort measures are available based upon the needs of the individual including massage, music and aromatherapy.
